I would like to state that I was very glad to know that the mobike I ride - Royal Enfield Bullet - is in the Guiness World records . 115 Indian armymen rode as a pyramid for some distance (i think 50 m) --on ONE motorcycle. I read it in "Sainik Samachar" (Indian army mag) to which our school subscribes.
I think it would do even a humvee or hummer (US army jeep) proud.
Lately I have been riding it a lot - it gives me great strength! A bullet mobike can go anywhere and face anything - so should its rider be able to too!!
Although I have reason to believe that a certain UP based businessman would not mind funding my US education trip - lest I do not get a scholarship ( MEd at Harvard does not attract much) I still gave the ad --more about the ad later.
I wish to involve the largest number of Hindus -- thru concept selling -- with the idea that they too could be a part of a sustained effort to bring "Hindu run" --incl Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsees -- institutions -- at par with those run by Christian missionaries -- by partly funding my trip --for a start!!
At present this idea just does not exist -- since almost all top Hindu jewellers/industrialists of jaipur/ rajsthan/india have studied in schools run by non-Hindus .
I'm sure all Jaipuriates got a shock - that some teacher in a Hindu run school at jaipur --could not only think but also got admission in a top US University.
I did not mention my surname -which could denote my supposed caste -- but I did write "Om Tat Sat" -- to highlight that I was proud of my Hindu heritage -- though pehaps no idol worshipper (of Ram, Krishna or Durga).
SUPPLY CREATES ITS OWN DEMAND - I think it is called Saye's law in economics - read it atleast a decade back - last. It does !
So now there is supply of a staunch Hindu globally savvy school teacher (if all turns out right) - who wishes to help All Hindu run schools reach global heights -- other schools --such as Govt run and those by other faiths could be taken up for improvement later- so I hope and am going to feel the purse strings of all concerned -- so that they pay me atleast Rs 100,000/- and max Rs 500,000/-
Even if none pay me -- and I have to resort to the last hope -- atleast the idea would register in these guys brains --and next time round when I touch upon them --for funding my students -for funding their US study -- I can see many have read my ad -and are gearing upto to take the GRE or TOEFL -- atleast after a few years - once they leave high school!! The girls are more thrilled -- perhaps they need more reassurance --from someone they know well --and has been "there"

PS - my ad in the local paper -it was full of lies --for one - I still am awaiting my admission to the MEd prog -not confirmed .
second -- I found yesterday that the MEd prog is only of one year -I wrote 2 years- no wonder Alpanaji and other ladies were saying that after one year I could try for DEd [ perhaps ladies know more about Education deptt than men] thus the amount of $100,000/- I mentioned in the ad becomes half - that is "only $50,000/- or Rs 25 lakhs .
Though this amount is still too much --equal to the cost of the house we live in - constucted by my father with his lifelong income -- still it is much smaller compaered to the Rs 1 crore ($200,000 figure required for a 4 year DEd degree)
Rs 1 crore has a special significance for us Indians --someone who has it is considered equivalent of a US millionaire!!
