Yeah apart from Sema , Deori also has the same sound. I forgot my Deori, but I remember that it is used in the Deori word for THAT (Assamese XEITO). But I think in this case the transfer is from Assamese to Deori. I am not aware of the other Indian Languages which have this sound, could you tell me more about that? Kashmiri has a sound similar to the X but I think its occurence is restricted only to word final position (I cannot bet on it). I remember one of my Kashmiri friends mentioning the word for mosquito as MOX (~Assamese mwh)in Kashmiri!! Bodo does not have the X sound.
