Tilapiya aaro Paleng Shakr:
The ingredients listed for this recipe are good for four persons.
The amount of ingredients may be increased proportioonally as number
of persons increases.
Ingredients:
Take a whole tipia fish - cut into pieces seak size
Turmeric Power - 1 Tbsp
Garlic - 4 to 5 pods
ginger - 1 inch
Onion - 1 Medium chopped
Spinach - 1 bunch
Kalongi - 1 Tsp
Jeera whole - 1 tsp
Pepper corn - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Marinade the fish with salt and turmeric powder. Heat Oil in a
shallow pan and fry the fish to golden brown and keep it aside.
Make a paste with jeera, Kalongi (Kal Jeera), Pepper corn, ginger
and garlic and keep it aside.
Wash the spinach throughly and grind it into a smooth paste.
Tilapiya aaro Paleng Shakr Preparation:
In a pan, heat some oil and add panch-furon and chopped onions. Fry
till golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste and then add the
grind spinach and fry till the oil coates on top. then add some
water and bring to a boil. Add some salt according to taste and
finally add the fried fish and boil for another 5 mins. Turn off the
flame and keep cover on for about 5 minutes. Serve with hot rice.
The preparation of "tilapiya aaro paleng shakr" is done, ready
to serve!
