Hi all. A festival of award-winning films from Assam will be held at
Siri Fort Auditorium II. Please inform everybody you know. I am
giving the tentative schedule here, but look out for the formal ad in
delhi newspapers around 3rd/4th/5th Jan.

Jan 6: 6 pm: Screening of inaugural film Kalsandhya (Hindi) by Dr
Bhabendra Nath Saikia, after the formal Inaugural ceremony. The film
stars Jatin Bora, Ashish Vidyarthi and Debasree Roy, apart from
several other leading actors from Assam. This was the first film on
insurgency in Assam, and still is one of the most authentic
depictions of the suffering of the common people. It was part of the
Indian Panorama at the IFFI in 1997.
