The community of Asom Immigants in San Francisco
Bay Area is hosting Assamese Get-together 2006,
a fun-filled cultural celebration of people with
ties to ASOM, on the 1st and the 2nd of July at
the Marriot Hotel, San Mateo, CA. We would like to
cordially invite you to join us in celebrating
this event.
Some highlights about the event are as:
* Three noted artists from ASOM - Zubin Garg (singer
and composer), Moinul Haque (mime) and Somnath Bora
(percussionist) have graciously accepted our
invitation to attend the get-together.

* Cultural programme on both the evenings will
feature performances by local artists besides the
invited artists from ASOM.
* There will be a Cottonian meet, an art and
cultural exhibition, a children's program,
presentations/discussion about issues
related to ASOM, and a picnic.
