Is it really the national Highway affecting the forest! I don't think so. We need highways for growth. The real problem is cutting trees illegaly all across Assam and then smuggle it. We are NOT planting new trees. We are to blame for this. I haven't seen a poor forest officials and haven't seen any poor fellow dealing in wood business.
