Hi, some news which was published in the Business Intillenge Middle East in Sep
2006 issue has Aosm connection. You may find it interesting to read.

"In the Arab world fragrances have always been a very personal and integral
issue. Ajmal Ali, the founder of the group, realised this 50 years back when he
first encountered Arabs in Bombay (now Mumbai). His home province of Assam was
abundant in the prime ingredient of perfume Agarwood and Ajmal Ali soon took to
blending oils and bulk-supplying them to the Middle East. Later he shifted base
to Dubai and came to be known as the Agar tycoon. The second generation of the
family now runs a multi-million dollar group diversified into textiles,
ready-to-wear, leather and real estate. The one-man operation had become a
global conglomerate."
