I often keep getting heard that
The central government is responsible for our backwardness compared to the rest
of the other states of the country. Whereas this statement is pretty much
debatable. The central government does takes necessary interest in our area and
also puts necessary funds whatever required for developing infrastructure....
But what i feel is that the State Government of Assam isnt well enough to keep
up pace with the necessity of growth and development in our area... lets take
an example of the Broad Gauge Conversion between Badarpur and Lumding in the
Hill Section....
The Railway Ministry is pretty much putting all its efforts to get the job done
in time.... But this project is lagging behind due to the insurgency troubles
in the NC Hills District....
The State Government of Tripura also had encountered such problems related to
insurgency by deploying the TSR (Tripura State Rifles) to enable protection to
the contractors who work there...where as No such co-operation has been done to
ensure the safety of the railway contractors who work in the NC Hills
Area...Which is a tremendous matter of shame for the state government of
Assam...
So also take a look at our roads, our power crisis which we have been facing
ever since we are born in this great land....I definitely do agree that we all
live in one of the greatest states in India...We are well known for our
diversity in our own culture.... But speaking in terms of pacing up speed and
development in human life and infrastructure we are way behind.....
The state of Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand are moving way up...because of the co
operation from their state governments....We all are missing the support....let
us all stand as one and fight our way to get what we want...

Dey
