"Prajna", though a tiny word is one of great significance..It means wisdom. 'Prajnalaya' a place where wisdom is sought is a school run with collective efforts in the midst of natural surroundings of an interior place Titabar beside the river of Saraipani in the state of Assam, India. Prajnalaya provides an enviroment for students to grow in several branches such as literature, social service, drama, music, etc. in addition to regular school work. Prajnalaya also hosts students in their hostel facilities. The pupils living in the hostel are encouraged to take part in various vocational activities and are also taught lessons in self reliance. Prajnalaya gives shelter and tries to contribute to the special need of orphans, handicapped and spastic children.
