All our valued contributors please avoid posting personally addressed messages 
to our message board - some of our members gave feedback as well in the past.

Q. How do I write a message to post to assamonline?
A. Please write as if your contribution is a passage like in a Newspaper.

Q. What will you do if I post personally addressed message?
A. A moderator may delete or leave it to bounce back to you or edit and publish.

Q. Can I cross-post to assamonline?
A. No, please don't do so.

Q. What do you mean by cross-posting?
A. A message that is posted to assamonline as well as other message boards

Q. Can I post a thread published in assamonline to another message board?
A. No, moderators do not want any member to do so.

An example:
Visit the following link in the archive
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/assamonline/message/2839

Then click to "Reply" icon on top left or bottom left of the email.
You will see a pull-down menu for "To" filed.
Here you have only three options to reply to the message

(1) Reply to [email protected]
(2) Reply to Contributor (Prof Rahman in this case)
(3) Reply to all moderators [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Should you reply via web, this is how our guidelines are implemented .
