North East Handicrafts to make mark at NEXPO-2007 NET News Network New Delhi, Jan 27: Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), an organization under the Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries is developing clusters of small enterprises. IIE has been grooming artisans from different States of India through cluster initiatives. IIE, Guwahati started with cluster development works during January 2005 with the artisan cluster of cane and bamboo under the aegis of Development Commissioner (SSI) at Dimapur, Nagaland. The process continued and IIE took up a handloom cluster in Manipur in May 2006. IIE will showcase its achievements and cluster products in the NEXPO-2007\ being organized at the NSIC Exhibition Ground, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi from January 27th to February 3,2007. In the NEXPO, the best of cane and bamboo handicrafts from Nagaland and Manipuri Handlooms will be displayed.
