The former correspondent of Purbanchal Prahari and presently associated with Dainik Purvoday, Kisore Kirat had already taken first phase of his treatments in CMC Vellore and now waiting for the operation (as doctors prescribed).
As a local reporter, Kishore has little resource to continue his treatment. Moreover, he doesnt have any insurance coverage (like most of the Northeastern journalists). The Shillong Press Club had generated some funds for Kishore and now we need to help him. I need the money to live few more days, he told me in a recent interaction.
