Dear friends,
The India Habitat Centre, New Delhi is hosting a regional Film Festival from
May 21 - 27,2007.
On May 22 at 9.00pm,we screen the Assamese film Aideu directed by Arup Manna
.The film is the story of Aideu Handique, the heroine of the first Assamese
feature film, Jaymoti made in 1935.The Film director will also be present for
the screening.
The Festival also brings Sonam the first film made in the Monpa dialect of
the Indo Tibetan branch of languages from Arunachal .
Am attaching a schedule of all the other films too.

We look forward to seeing at the festival specially for the Assamese film.
