Dhemaji students secure positions in HSLC, HS exams >From our Correspondent
DHEMAJI, May 26: The people of Dhemaji town are jubilant at the outcome of the HSLC and the HS results. Moushumi Deuri, daughter of Dr PN Deuri, bagged 5th position in the HSLC examination, securing an aggregate of 545 marks (91 per cent) from SFS School, Dhemaji. Rajiv Medhi of Dhemaji Commerce College bagged the 5th position in the HS (Commerce) examination, 2007. He is the son of Kalicharan Medhi, an employee of the Veterinary department, Dhemaji. With letter marks in four subjects, Rajiv secured a total of 413 marks. Speaking to The Sentinel, Rajiv said that he had studied for 6-8 hours daily and hopes to be a chartered accountant in the future. (The Sentinel,27.05.2007)
