Dear All,

As I got the information from both Manoj Goswami and Utpal Borpujari, I think I
could help someway. Dr. Sarbeswar Sarahia, a renowned urologist and transplant
surgeon, a nice individual, do kidney transplants at Mahavir Hospital &
Research Centre, 10-1-1, Bhagwan Mahavir Marg, AC Guard, Hyderabad - 500 004.
His ph no is 040-23548748(R).

The Mahavir hospital is listed in Prime Minister National Relief Fund and
entire expenditure for the transplant could bear by PMNRF if it appropriately
applies through channels. The MPs from Assam particularly Dr. Arun Sarma could
help him to get the fund.

Secondly, Chief Minister also provide fund for such cases.

Although, individual could help, but being needed huge money (presently
300000-700000), this government fund is the only alternate source.

The most important fact regarding the transplant is post operative cost which
is much higher than the actual operation along with other constraint.

I hope I could help the person bigger way if required.

Thanking you
Biswajeet Saikia

Subject: an appeal for help

Hi all. I am forwarding this message from Manoj Goswami, senior journalist and
editor of Dainik Janasadharan newspaper in Guwahati. Of course, many such cases
of need keep happening but we rarely get a chance to be of any help. In this
case, we can be of some help. For any clarification, one can write to Manoj-da
at manojgoswami @ hotmail . com .

Just a thought in this regard, can all NRAs, who can make some contribution,
get together and form a trust so that needy people can get some help in the
fields of education and health care at least. may be Manoj-da, being in
Guwahati, can coordinate such an effort with a group of likeminded people.
