  Great work Dibya,

No offense meant Dibya...this is all in a jocular vein. To speak the truth,
your list actually made me salivate like a hungry stray dog in front of a meat
shop....however in al of it what couldn't drive straight past my over sensitive
jocular vein without tickling at my ribs is that:

If hol is mash(or maas)and nahai 'fish'...then kino jagar lagale besera
puthi, goroi, borali and kuhi ye tumaak je teulok hoi gol "fish"? Akou Ou hol
tenga and gul hol nemu, kintu Pati hol duck and kuhi masor jol gusi hol curry?

Anyways...I reiterate...your list was too, no three good. Eibar gharaloi gole
ei list mote aahaaror aayojan korim...

  Thanks
  Gitanjali

Thank you for the list. Till now, I did not know that we had such a long
list of exquisite cuisines.

The next time I go to Assam and some body asks me, " Ki kahbo kuok sun ? "
You bet I will have your list in my pocket.

    Hello,

Does anyone know of any website/blog of assamese cuisine where one can find
assamese recipes? I have been trying to find one on google and cant seem to
find any... which is quite sad as there are recipes sites for almost all other
Indian cuisines. I have been craving muri ghonto, hah or jol, matimahor dali
etc and was wondering if I should start a blog (where everyone can contribute
their recipes) if there arent any already out there.

    Saswati
