It is heartening to see Assamese Diaspora returning to Assam and trying to do something with lots of hope and promise. Their effort through Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters(FASS), with AASU and then CII summit in the past three days are praiseworthy. We are proud of their both individual and collective achivements. Unfortunately Panchyat election hangover has not yet given Assamese media enough space for this positive development. Notwithstanding, this is indeed a good begining.
