Hemendra Narayan, a senior journalist with The Statesman newspaper,
recently published a booklet on his memories of the Nellie massacre 25
years ago. He was one of the only two journalists (the other was Assam
Tribune's Bedabrata Lahkar), who were helpless witness to the killings
while returning to Guwahati from another place. At that time, Narayan
was with the Indian Express newspaper. He has uploaded the booklet on
