Thanks Moloy Daa for the information regarding the camp.

As per telephonic information from Pulakesh, the JBF vet Dr. Shahjahan &
assistant Ratul attended the two animals at Lakhara Chariali at around 11.00pm.
After the necessary treatment the white male animal stand-up & went away. Next
day morning at around 07.00hrs when the JBF team again visited the place the
white male animal was not there and the keeper of the fawn cow was taking away
the cow.

Have a Nice Day.

VETTY CAMP AT DEEPOR BEEL BY EARLY BIRD'S

Guwahati- July, The Early Bird's an organization for animal care and wild life
protection had organized a veterinary camp at Chokrdoo village near Deepor beel
bird sanctuary on 9th July ,2008. More than hundred cattle were vaccinated
against HS + BQ diseases and lots of medicines were distributed including one
for de-warming free of cost. It is worthwhile to mention here that Deepor is an
Ramser site and only internationally important wet land in the state. Two team
doctors , Rupam Bhattacharya and Anjan Chakraborty participated while auxiliary
services were offered by shri Pulakesh Talukdar and Sajib Das . Wild life
departmental staff co-operated the effort s of Early Bird’s team. While
returning , the team had seen a speeding truck hitting two roaming cow’s badly
and immediately offered them first aid services and life saving injections.
That was the overall 118th free camp by Early Bird’s in and around ofProtected
areas and 14th around Deepor beel of Assam and Meghalaya.
