Recently AASU declared a Mass movement for deportation of Bangladeshis.
Although it should have started a decade back it is a right step.

AASU should be careful this time not to make mistakes like those in the last
movement and subsequent Assam accord.

In my opinion AASU should include the following in the agenda of the proposed
movement :-

1. Repeal of Indira-Mujib accord - which makes bangladeshis of pre 1971 indian
citizens. Demand Deportation of all the bangladeshis who came after 15/08/1947.

OR, demand compulsory birth control for Bangladeshi origin people (post
15/08/1947) till the demography close to 1947 is achieved. We can argue, the
Birth control measure will ultimately help the Bangladeshi origin peoples by
upliftment of their economic condition due to low population. Bangladeshi
origin leaders (AAMSU, AUDF) must agree to it if their hidden agenda is not
capturing political power from the Indigeneous.
(It will be interesting to see how they react to it. Their reactions will prove
their actual

agenda.)

2. Although migration is happening from Nepal etc. and also from other states
of India they are not a threat to us as compared to the threat of Loss of
identity and political power from the Bangladeshis. So, only demand expulsion
of bangladeshis while taking into confidence the Bengalis, Nepalis, Biharis
etc. we can't afford making enemies all around. We should try to find
solidarity in these ethnic groups in the fight with Bangladeshi immigrants.
(e.g.- BLT created the BTF.)

3. Boycott economically. Here we should be carefull, it is being noticed
recently that, District level AASU activists are still making mistakes. in
Golaghat a few days ago, AASU activists captured some suspected Bangladeshis,
while the action was praiseworthy the subsequent humiliation of the suspects in
public has repercussions.(Patrons of bangladeshis, pseudo human rights
activists makes hue and cry about this and manage to get some support also.)
we should apeal and educate the indigeneous people not to engage Bangladeshi
(post 1947) people in work and not to buy things from Bangladeshi vendors
rather than capturing and and humiliating Bangladeshis.

Take stern action (Boycott) against contractors, shop owners and factory owners
who employ Bangladeshis.

4. stop further spreading of Bangladeshi peoples (such as encroachment in
Kaziranga) by occupying the remaining revenue land and helping settle landless/
erosion affected indigeneous ppl.

5. Occupy newly formed Chhars in the brahmaputra (in lower & Middle Assam) and
help settle the indigeneous ppl there. if Bangladeshi people can encroach in
Kaziranga and the land of Assam-Nagaland border why can't the indigeneous
people occupy Chhars? (after all, chhars are created by the eroded earth of the
indigenous landowners upstream.)

6. At worksites randomly Check the identity papers shown by Bangladeshi
workers/ vendors randomly for GENUINNESS (whether he is a dissident of pre-1947
migrants) if found to be post 1947 dont let the Contractor/owner to employ him.
KEEP A PHOTOGRAPH AND PULM IMPRESSION FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

(it may be illegal but we must find out a way to do it. after all they entered
here illegally and have acquired citizenships by dubious means).

I shall be obliged if somebody forwards my views to the AASU.
