Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's speech in Hyderabad? For the last few years, on the Internet, a speech with the title "Three Visions for India", attributed to former President of India, Dr. Abdul Kalam is circulating. The text differs from site to site.

The much published speech "Three Visions for India" is not included here. One of the reasons might be that Dr. Abdul Kalam did not deliver the said speech at Hyderabad. The Rediff url http://www.rediff.com/news/1998/oct/13kalam.htm contains an interview of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam by Pritish Nandy. This was published on 13-10-1998. The title was 'Unless India stands up to the world, no one will respect us. In this world, fear has no place. Only strength respects strength'. It seems most of the articles published on the Internet on the subject of "Three Visions for India" and attributed to our former President of India are based on this interview.
