Unfortunately, the Assamese community is very simplistic and lacks the political acumen and foresight exhibited by other linguistic groups. We expect a just, efficient, non-corrupt governance and growth to be delivered to us on a platter. And when that does happen we complain about neglect.
In this dog-eat-dog world we have to fight who to get what we think is our share. ( And by fight, I mean law makers/representatives speaking up for us ). ________________________________ > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > CC: [email protected] > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Sat, 13 Sep 2008 23:15:11 -0700 > Subject: [asom] How Assam neglected??? > > Dear Bikash, > > I know you love Assam and your father was a freedom fighter.
