The night news did really shocked me again ! It was 1983 while I was at
Bangalore and its again I am in Bangalore.The damage and the activities are
same.
I am born to the place with lot many troubles seen in my life.
It was 1947 when then East pakistanis invaded shouting Larke lenge Pakistan and
the famous Borbori camp was held by then Gopinath Bordoloi, my father Paniran
Das,Amiyo Kumar Das,Arun hazarika to save the then Darrang.Again things gone
wrong in 1983.
But the fact is more disturbing in nature- now.
Some days ago, few ancient east pakistanis immigrant was taking cattle for sale
via Rowta main road.They did ignored the VDP(Village Defence party) signal to
stop for checking.All was mostly tribes man from Bodoland.At this point they
did attacked with Bows and arrows when warnings went in vain.Due to poisonous
arrows, some died then and there and others badly injured.This did fuelled lot.
Days ago one leader from Dalgaon area did go to DC office of Udalguri to file
protest.Ironically he was chopped off to pices and death then and there only
brutally!!! And the effect gone beyond repair.The news spread everywhere while
the immigrants was ready for some final assult.ISI,SIMI was training them more
to create anti Indian feelings.Immediately via mobile phone messages was
relayed that all immigrants must leve Mangaldai town and vacate from the
hospitals(???).
The final asult took place last night. This news is from the battlegrounds.It
is not related to any communucal things.Its anti Indian.The badly effected area
are Bherbheri- where pakistani flag was found hoisting(??). Rowta,Kadamtali of
Puthimari,Kowpati,Bhakatpara and kalitapara.kalitapara and Kadamtali is witness
of devastating death and arson.People fled from the villages and taken shelter
in kalaigaon,Mangaldai etc.Army is now out and things are under control. As
media descrin\bed it as communual- is highly wrong.It is an conflict from both
the sides.
Bodoland people to blame to place lot many pressure to the non bodos.There will
be levy, fines and social restrictions always in the BTC.Life is not that easy
going.This caused all the panick and arson to happen.Large Bihari and the old
immigrants also killed now.Sorrowfully the administration might have fully
aware of such underground incidents, but election nearing caused all to cool.
Simultaneously therte is also incident of behading one Durga idol at Kharupetia
of Mangaldai.We people need to come for cooling down the issue.Assam can never
be taken for ranson by anyone at any cost.Now it will go politically in wrong
hands and things wil be more worst.Why ULFA/NDFB or BTC simply witnessed such
brutality?? A big question to think for the answer.Who was preparing for the
big war or it was simple counter attack???
