A Saratar Kabita Abeli was held at Chitrasen Kakoty Path Housing
Complex, Golaghat recently under the aegis of the Aaikyatan, a cultural
and literary organisation of Golaghat.
The Kabitar Abeli was inaugurated by Kautuv Moni Hazarika, a journalist
and writer. It was conducted by Pulina Dutta, a poet.
In the Kabitar Abeli, the poets who read out their self-composed poems
were: Lonee Phuken, Aroti Chetia Phuken, Abdul Suvan Ali, Murulee
Goswami, Jayajyoti Gogoi, U Dutta, Pulina Dutta and Dipsikha Goswami.
Uttam Kausik presented a modern song and Jayajyoti Gogoi a bhajan.
Pulina Dutta reviewed the poems.
Earlier, Upen Dutta president, Aaikyatan, delivered the welcome
address. The vote of thanks was offered by Muruli Goswami, organising
secretary, Aaikyatan.
