I've had to maintain a program that was riddled with this kind of logic. Clear a register before loading anything into it, regardless of instruction used. It also featured a subroutine that would emulate EDMK. And to check whether or not a number was divisable by 9 it would add all digits, then check whether or not dividing that sum by 9 would yield a zero remainder. It's all rather annoying, but didn't we all start out empty-handed? Please be a bit kind to the person who had to find a way of getting a job done. A job he/she apparently was not too familiar with. Cheers, Abe. ===
