Ok, I'll bite on this one. On what grounds are your records the same or be duplicates? On what SMF record types are you working? Did you checked the whole SMF standard header or the whole SMF record to determine duplicates or not? What if you use DFSORT and then use a little assembler program as a DFSORT exit (exit E35) to check for duplicates and then drop them? Above solution may or may not work for you of course. Please be kind to supply more info what your criterias for duplicates are you using. Perhaps there are better solutions out there. Groete / Greetings Elardus Engelbrecht
