Hi William, The "CHI" & "DSG" are 2 of about 50 macros that were used to code a 3890 SCI ( Stacker Control Instructions ) program. A 3890 SCI program was 'assembled' on the z/OS or z/VSE system using the mainframe assembler and the resulting load module would be downloaded into the IBM 3890 Document Processor by the mainframe-based "item processing" support software ( i.e. IBM CPCS, IBM DOSCHECK, CA SuperMicr ). These macros represent the 'native hardware instructions' of the IBM 3890 machine.
