I am the OP of this thread. I had thought that I was being courteous (I did see 
one post which was not, but it was __NOT__ from me). But if I did offend, I 
apologize and assure you that I did not mean to. Also, I now realize that you 
may have been responding to my thoughts on reformatting HLASM input, not to the 
"namespace" proposition for opcodes and macros. That indeed was a bit C-ish. My 
main desire was to simply get away for the "fixed column" card image format 
which I feel is a bit archaic. And, of course, we may all disagree and have our 
own opinions about possible changes. That's what a discussion forum is for. 
I've been wrong headed many times.
