Hi Tom,

Sorry about the HTML. I am aware of the ASMLIST archives issue, and I
do try to remember to send only plain text there, but being human, I
do forget, especially since my posts to ASMLIST are rare.

As I do send a lot of email to a lot of places,
and I do take advantage of HTML formatting in most of my emails,
I don't think I'll be changing my emailer's defaults. Sorry.

I wonder what it will take to get ASM-LIST to upgrade themselves out
of the stone age and into supporting more modern formatting??????

Hmmmm. More modern? But I thought html email is a good
place for viruses to lurk. That's why I deliberately
turn html off for my email client.

David,

When you send email to this listserv in HTML, the archives at
http://www.listserv.uga.edu are difficult to read. If you could
set your mailer to send plain text, I would appreciate it.

Your posts in the IBM-main archives don't have this problem.
