The TNL was simply put in front of the binder, leaving the merge to the first one who actually needed the book (and was kind enough to take the duty). It's amazing how many books we discarded with the TNL's unmerged... The only one I really missed were the control block books. I never managed to get used to softcopy versions of sticking punch cards between the relevant pages while reading a dump :-) Rob
