In VP/CSS (an old competitor to VM/CMS), the preamble to the EXEC assembler
program contained several stanzas of Dante's Inferno in Italian.

Apparently a guy that was making changes to add several of the CMS EXEC2 style
features to the CSS EXEC language had problems implementing the changes and got
frustrated :-).
