A Square Root exception is also only-deliberate in most non scientific programs, and shows up on z/OS as a 0E0-1D abend. It's easy to create in any number of ways, e.g: LE 0,*+4 SQER 0,0 Not that I recommend actually using any of these oh-so-cute but appalling techniques, you understand... Tony H.
