I have used the MVI followed by MVC since College.  It works.  What this guy
was suggesting for a change, I am curious, if we changed things so that that
would work, would it then allow the typical buffer overflow issues which
distributed land is plagued with?  If so, I would HIGHLY recommend AGAINST
doing something like that which would enable ease-of-hacking in mainframe land.

Also, as a an additional comment, PLEASE, PLEASE stop trying to change
mainframe assembler to look or act according to distributed conventions.
Distributed conventions are inferior, generally speaking.  And I know a little
about Unix, too, so I am not utterly speaking off the top.
