I just used this and I run on an old system (something that is very desireable for a software company). I thought it was cool because I have a table full of the V(xxxx) and the addresses are all automatically filled in.
We used to use V-cons but when we started writing 64-bit code in 2002 we changed them all to A-cons. We use pointer-defined linkage *everywhere*! The problem is that the HOBSET binder option, which sets the high-order bit in a 32-bit word for AMODE(31) EPAs, does not set the equivalent low-order bit for 64-bit EPAs in a doubleword. And, there is no LOBSET option. :( -- Edward E Jaffe Phoenix Software International, Inc 831 Parkview Drive North El Segundo, CA 90245 310-338-0400 x318 [email protected] http://www.phoenixsoftware.com/
