I just used this and I run on an old system (something that is very

We used to use V-cons but when we started writing 64-bit code in 2002 we changed
them all to A-cons. We use pointer-defined linkage *everywhere*! The problem is
that the HOBSET binder option, which sets the high-order bit in a 32-bit word
for AMODE(31) EPAs, does not set the equivalent low-order bit for 64-bit EPAs in
a doubleword. And, there is no LOBSET option. :(
