If the STC is your own there is no need to intercept anything, you are free to use the STOP/MODIFY interface. Basically you need to have a task that waits on the STOP/MODIFY ECB and takes appropriate actions when posted. See the EXTRACT and QEDIT macros. You can even use WTO to return information that will be displayed as the reply to the command. It remains an exercise for the reader to arrange for the application tasks running within the STC to do something sensible when posted with a command, or told to stop. CC
