Just be warned that the value placed in R14 is not the same so if you are trying to use the information in the high nibble, you can run into problems (the CC settings and the instruction length info is not there for BAS(R). I think that this only applies to AMODE24 since in AMODE31 all but the high bit of R14 is used as the return address.
