Nothing wrong at all with using regular expressions in unix. Heck, isn't it
just about the only horse to ride in unix-land? Vi? Ok, two horses. But, i
still think it can be done better. As a matter of fact, I am tempted to write
a replacement for regular expressions for the pc/unix that is NOT difficult to
use, but has similar capabilities. Although, I am a afficianado of SIMPLE,so
having thousands of bells and whistles won't happen. I can leave that to Word
or Excel. All the bells and whistle you DON'T want.

Re Assembler. That is SO much easier than regex. Geesh.
