Yep. I haven't looked lately, but it at least used to be the case that your
pimple-faced Best Buy sales kid had to log onto CICS to do an inventory
check! I LOLed the first time I saw them do that.

Costco, OTOH, uses what looks to me to be IBM i (System i, iSeries, AS/400)
for their inventory control. Green-screen but I don't *think* it's CICS; I
could be wrong, they won't let me play :(

And of course CICS could be behind THAT.
