But sadly, STIMER[M] is not. Yes, it can be worked around, though not without difficulty. It seems strange that the surely very common paradigm of waiting for the first of (an event or a fail-safe timer) is not easily available. All it would take is STIMER[M] LINKAGE=SYSTEM.
