Hi folks! UGA is FINALLY going to upgrade Listserv to the current version this Friday, June 20 starting at 5PM. Expect some downtime (since I set this all up before I retired, and have been through a few of these, I anticipate a few glitches) over the weekend.
Posting via email will not change: it's still [email protected]. I am not sure if the [email protected] alias will still work, but give it a try and let me know if it doesn't: we can fix it. [email protected] should work for sure. The web interface for subscribing/unsubscribing and searching the archives will still be at listserv.uga.edu/archives/ASM370.html and it'll look different, but basically work the same. Your Listserv passwords will be migrated. Good things: - we should see many fewer, if any, out-of-office messages posted to the list!!! - the recent DMARC implementation by Yahoo and others has caused many people to miss some posts (see http://tech.slashdot.org/story/14/04/09/2047205/yahoo-dmarc-implementation-breaks-most-mailing-lists if interested).
