Common storage must be key 0-7. If you want it to be fetchable by
programs running in other keys (including 8-15), then you must acquire
non-fetch-protected storage.
I usually use the same key my program runs in e.g., if it runs with PSW
key=1 then private and common storage areas acquired by the program are
key=1, if it runs with PSW key=4 then private and common storage areas
acquired by the program are key=4.
