No, the TOD value is not in seconds. If memory serves, bit 51 is
incremented every microsecond, so the TOD is really a count of micro-seconds
since 1900-01-01.

Will just adding +5 to the TOD value do it?

How about adding the 5 seconds before you convert to date and time?

Subject: TOD

Hello all, I have been able to take the TOD value and convert it to date and
time. Is there an easy way to add 5 seconds to this value and not have to worry
about next day. I.E. if I add 5 seconds do I have to calculate midnight roll
over as well as add 1 for the next day? Or is there a simpler way of doing this.

Thanks in advance.
Pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.
