One of these fora informed me that I could switch to ISRTSOA. I copied it into my private ISPPLIB and renamed it ISRTSO. Works well enough. ISRTSO clears the command line after issuing the command; ISRTSOA doesn't. Preferences vary.
With a wide screen, I can enter a longer command in ISRTSOA than in ISRTSO, but when the command is issued it is quietly! (Ouch!) truncated to the same length that ISRTSO supports. The great advantage is that I can insert a few characters without first erasing an equal number at the right end and copying them to the next line. -- gil
