I read a value from DB2 into my program. This original value was inserted into
DB2 by another program doing:
LG R14,ASSBPHTM LOAD PREEMTABLE TIME
LG R15,ASCBEJST LOAD ACCUMULATED ADSP TIME
ALGR R14,R15 ADD TIMES
STG R14,DOUBLE SAVE TOTAL ACCUMULATED TIME
This is then stored in a column in a DB2 as an hourly interval of CPUTIME.
I need to get the difference between each accumulated interval, then work out
the time used.
To do this I subtract Hour(n+1) from Hour(n) and then use STCKCONV.
STCKCONV STCKVAL=WORK4,CONVVAL=WORK5,TIMETYPE=DEC,DATETYPE=MMDDYYYY
WORK4 = x'00000000BCEB4772' INPUT
WORK5 = x'00000077381200000101190000000000' OUTPUT
Am I reading this correctly to state that the value is 0.773812 seconds? It
just seems a very low value for an hour's CPUTIME.
