Our problem is on a z15. But z15 should have the long-displacement facility / LRL instruction installed, yes?

That would give you a specification exception. That you are getting an operation exception suggests that the instruction is not installed on your machine. LRL appeared with the z10, I believe, so what are you running on? Tony H.
