DLLs on z/OS can be stored in PDSEs as well.  But that does not help you for 
z/VSE...

        Oh, you're correct that z/VSE does not have a Linux file system where 
traditional DLL link libraries would be found.  I also just checked my system 
and there is no CEEPCALL macro.  I have all the other macros you referenced.  
Hmmm...
