Maybe this calls (heh) for a new attribute - perhaps R' to fetch the duplication factor. In conditional assembly this would presumably fetch the dup factor of the (required) underlying ordinary symbol. But all this stuff is so fragile that I can't think anyone's going to want to fiddle around with it in HLASM.
