Make a private copy of ASMMSP or IEABRC. Add PUSH--NOGEN--POP. I once wrote or modified a cross-assembler to show the hex for the first generated instruction even with NOGEN in effect. Users didn't like it -- they wanted to see blanks there. I had to make it work "just like IEV90." -- gil
