(November 1st, 2025), my and my son's association
with Colesoft Marketing has ended. It has been a long, sweet ride,
but now it is over.

However, this is not the end of the line for z/XDC, quite the
opposite in fact. The development team remains, and future plans are
exciting, so stay tuned.

I want to thank the developers, Mike, Frank, Peter, Cleon, Amber and
Chris, for their loyalty to me, to the company and to the product.
They are a first class development team, and they will have the
pleasure of bring z/XDC into new arenas, while I will have the
pleasure of resting.

I especially want to thank Mike and Frank whose contributions to
z/XDC and its support have been epic!

Mike joined me at in the 1980s way back at the very beginning. He was
the designer of the 3270 fullscreen interface which has been the face
of z/XDC ever since.

Frank came on board in the 1990s as the newest of newbies. He went
from zero to becoming an absolute maven on his own! He developed a
deep knowledge of assembler, of z/XDC, of z/OS, of Windows, of Linux,
of languages and tools I've never heard of... of everything he needed
to, and a lot more. Today, he is by far the best troubleshooter I
have ever known. And of course, his coding skills are superior!

While I'm focusing on the long term friends, I am by no means want to
slight the newer guys. Peter and Chris bring with them lifetimes of
knowledge and skill, while Cleon and Amber are helping to bring z/XDC
into new worlds.

I also want to thank Wendie, Tamara and Dolly for their decades of
loyalty to me and the company that I created. Tamara and Wendie built
the back-office from scratch, and Dolly kept in clean.

And of course there's Bob. He joined up with me in the 1980s at the
very beginning and became the face of z/XDC to so many of you. He was
a constant presence for our customers, knocking on doors, learning
what people liked, reporting to me what they didn't like or were
confused about or was broken, running classes that trained so many of
you! He was a major reason for Colesoft's excellent reputation with
out customers!

I will miss these people. But it is time for me to go. And now I'm gone.
