If you have three that's probably enough to start with. In that case, each server would be monitored by two others. You'd still have to have the database and the CMA on one of them. So, I suspect the main impact on your servers would be running a copy of Neo4J on one of your systems. I don't really know how much overhead that is, but I don't think it's too bad. Right now it's really at the "toy" stage - so feel free to play with it.
